The restaurant was founded in 1972 under the name of "Castagno d'Oro". After a long, lucky, and fruitful period, it goes through a dark time after which it will stay closed for several years. In 2013, Fulvio and Roberta decided to step up to the plate as well as bring back to its brilliance. A motivated young couple, with several years of experience in the restaurant business and also food lovers.

Chef Fulvio has been developing his abilities, know-how and skills mainly abroad since he was young, at the Restaurant "Babbo" in New York with Joe Bastianich and Mario Batali, and at the Restaurant "Schwarzenraben" in Berlin. After the success of his Restaurant "Via Manin", always in Berlin, he decided to return to his homeland and undertake this exciting new adventure with Roberta.

Roberta cooperated for many years with local restaurants, and then, with her know-how and long-term experience, she decided to turn her dream of owning her own business into reality. Thus was born the "Biss Badaliss", a Restaurant, but also a theatre hosting live concerts and Jam-Sessions.

A magical place where the watchword is "passion".

Slow Food

Multi-Award Winning Chef Fulvio Ciondoli and the owner Roberta Stefani use only quality products in km 0 recognized as a Slow Food Presidium. They personally select their Steaks directly from small local breeders while respecting seasonality and provenance of fruits and vegetables in order to ensure their customers only top quality dishes.
